The bare metal system deployment platform is a high-level extension function of [One-click Network Reinstall System – Magic Modify version]. Starting from V2.0.1, we have provided the possibility to install any system from bare metal (manual installation / network ISO installation).
Compared to the one-click quick install mode, the bare metal system deployment platform allows you to manually install via VNC/IPIM/KVM, such as custom partitioning (RAID), and select advanced installation options such as disk encryption.

You need to Understand
1. The bare metal platform is only suitable for high-demand users. For ordinary users, please use the traditional one-button quick installation mode.
2. Use the platform’s configuration requirements: no less than the system’s official installation configuration + sufficient disk space + sufficient memory space (image file cache).
3. Advanced mode account and verification password, allowing UEFI boot installation and advanced features (UserName: root / PassWord: cxthhhhh.com)
4. Using the bare metal system deployment platform, the disk will be modified. Please backup your old data, otherwise it will cause irreparable damage. (You will bear all the consequences and responsibilities)
This article will teach you how to use VNC for custom system installation over the network. (This tutorial will use CentOS 7 for installation demos, the other systems operate the same way)
1、Install the Bare-metal System Deployment Platform
You need to refer to the [Original] One-click Network Reinstall System – Magic Modify version (For Linux/Windows) One-click installation of bare metal system deployment platform, you can proceed to the next step.
After the installation is complete, boot from the local hard disk, enter the bare metal system deployment platform, and then manually operate through VNC/IPIM/KVM.
2、Start the Bare-metal System Deployment Platform
This tutorial will only demonstrate the [Install] feature. Go to [Option 0] or [Option 1] to manually install the system.
In the demo, I will enter advanced mode [option 1] for the next step, advanced mode will support system deployment in UEFI environment. (UserName:root / PassWord:cxthhhhh.com)
3、Go to [NetInstall Tools] and select the system you want to install
As shown in the figure, the function is very rich, please enjoy it. (This tutorial will use CentOS 7 for installation demos, the other systems operate the same way)
Go to the [Linux Installs] option. We will proceed to the next step and choose the release to install. (Example: CentOS 7, etc.)
4、Select the Release System You want to Install
As shown in the figure, there are a large number of systems for you to choose to install, please enjoy.
Go to the [CentOS] option and select the system version. I will demonstrate the installation of the latest [CentOS 7.6 1810]. (The installation steps for other systems will be similar and will not be demonstrated)
5、Choose the Startup Mode of the Installer (Graphical interface / Text interface)
Here you can choose how the installer will be displayed, and I will use the graphical interface for the demo.
Go to the [Graphical Installer] option and launch the graphical system installation interface. (Depending on your network environment, loading the installer from the network will take anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.)
6、The Familiar Installation Interface has Appeared. Start Customizing your Installation
When the graphical installation interface is displayed on your screen, I believe that you can complete the installation and deployment of the system independently.
